Two Spiral Galaxies in Virgo


These two spiral galaxies, NGC 4302 (left) and NGC 4298 (right), are about 55 million light-years away and are part of the Virgo Cluster of Galaxies. Both galaxies have similar spiral shapes, but are seen at different orientations.
