Starry-Eyed Hubble Celebrates 20 Years of Awe and Discovery

This is a zoom into the Carina Nebula, where thousands of stars are born from primeval gas and dust. The zoom sequence centers on a giant tower of cool hydrogen. Stars are forming inside this incubator and fire off jets of material.
