Instrument: ACS
Exposure Date(s): June, 2004 - March, 2005
Exposure Time: 3.2 days (76 hours)
Filters: F555W (V) + F814W (I)
About the Image
Image Credit: NASA, ESA, M. Davis (University of California, Berkeley), S. Faber (University of California, Santa Cruz), and A. Koekemoer (STScI)
Release Date: March 6, 2007

This image is a composite of many separate exposures made by the WFPC2 instrument on the Hubble Space Telescope using two different filters to sample broad wavelength ranges. The color results from assigning different hues (colors) to each monochromatic image. In this case, the assigned colors are:

F606W (V) blue
F555W (V) + F814W (I) green
F814W (I) red
