Release Date: January 10, 2010
Color: This image is a composite of separate exposures acquired by the WFC3 and ACS instruments on HST. Several filters were used to sample broad and narrow wavelength ranges. The color results from assigning different hues (colors) to each monochromatic (grayscale) image associated with an individual filter. In this case, the assigned colors are:
WFC3/IR F160W (H) dark green
WFC3/UVIS F814W (I) dark red
ACS/WFC FR716N (Redshifted H-alpha) red
ACS/WFC FR505N ([O III]) green
WIYN (B) blue
